Terms of use

RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENT

  • An early payment of 15% (50€ minimum) of the total price is required to confirm your reservation.
  • The required pre-payment will be made through bank transfer or PayPal. The rest of the amount will be made in cash upon arrival.
  • Please be advised that your reservation will not be confirmed until the bank notifies us of deposit of the bank transfer, after which we will confirm your reservation by email.

BOOKING CANCELLATION POLICY

In case of cancellation, the 15% pre-payment to confirm your reservation will be totally refunded (except for bank transfer fees or PayPal fees) only if booking cancellation is done 30 or more days before the check in date.

BOOKING MODIFICATION POLICY

The booked dates can be modified, depending on availibility, 30 days prior to arrival at the latest. Modifications are subject to acceptance by EMBER HOUSING.

In the event of unpredictable circunstances (mandatory restructuring, flooding, etc.), we will offer another apartment of similar quality and characteristics as the one reserved. In the event that we can´t offer this, the reservation may be cancelled and the amounts paid will be completely reimboursed, except for the number of days already spent in the apartment and the cleaning costs.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE PROCESS

  1. Along with the confirmation of your reservation we will send you an email with all the necessary information for your arrival in Valencia, exact address of the apartment.
  2. We ask for you to answer as soon as possible and let us know your estimated time of arrival in Valencia and your cell phone number, to be able to meet with you and give you keys to the apartment the day of your arrival.
  3. The day of arrival, call us when you are arriving to Valencia, if you travel by car, or call us just before leaving the Valencia airport, if you travel by plane. Flights are often late and this way we will avoid unnecessary waiting time.
  4. When you arrive in the apartment, the person in charge will be waiting for you and will show you how everything works.
  5. The keys will be given to you, after payment of the remaining amount of the rental.
  6. Please contact us for any information you may need, such as restaurant suggestions, directions, in case you get lost, or if you have any questions regarding the apartment or Valencia in general. We can also, if notified in advance, reserve a taxi service for your departure.
  7. The departure should be done before 11:00h, we will be in the apartment at the agreed time to:
    • Take the apartment keys.
    • check if there is no damage to the apartment.

APARTMENT RULES

  • The persons staying in the apartment have to behave responsibly. We do NOT ask for a deposit to cover possible damages in the apartment, beacuse we trust our clients, and so far all our clients have left our apartment in perfect conditions. In case that a client causes any damages, he will be responsible paying for them.
  • In the event that the people staying in the apartment behave in an unreasonnable way, they will be asked to leave the apartment, and no amount will be refunded.
  • Loss of the keys has a 30€ cost.

    RESPONSIBILITY

    We are not responsible of any type of harm, direct or indirect, that can be caused by an incorrect use made by the client, of appliances or anything contained in the apartment,including without limitation, fires, theft or accidents, or any other type of damage.

    INVOICES FOR COMPANIES

    Please note that when the invoice is under the name of a complany,  a 7% VAT (IVA) will be added to the total amount.
